Antoinette Teresi, 85, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
She was born and raised in Hoboken before moving to Oakhurst 50 years ago.
She worked for Aramark at Monmouth University for 30 years before retiring. Prior to that, she owned Joseph’s Pastry Shop in Asbury Park.
She was a communicant and a member of the Rosary Altar of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch and the Friendship Senior Club in Ocean.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A., Sr.; son, Joseph A. Jr.; grandson, Joseph Melione; sons-in-law, Joseph Sesta, Ronald Johnson, and William Sheedy; brother, Joseph Castellitto and sisters, Grace Tuzzio and Geraldine Gabrielle.
Surviving are her daughters, Margaret Sesta, Joanne Johnson, Debra Sheedy, Doreen Melione and her husband Dominick and Nancy Peak and her husband William; son, Mariano Teresi and partner Walter Barry; brothers, Bartholomew, Anthony and John Castellitto; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Melone and wife Becky Jo, Diana Buble and husband Sean, Nicholas, Michael and Christopher Melione and Joseph Teresi III and 4 great-grandchildren, Antonia and Gionna Melone and Jaxson and Kira Buble and her beloved pet, April May.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 1-6 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 238 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Monday at St. Jerome Church in West Long Branch. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
