Robert Thomas (Bob) Brinton died at home on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Tinton Falls, N.J., at the age of 38.
He is survived by his parents, John and Leila Brinton of Deland, Fla.; fiancé Erin McNerney of Tinton Falls; daughters, Julianne Brinton of Oceanport, N.J., and Genevieve Brinton of Tinton Falls; stepdaughter Isabella Politan of Tinton Falls; sister, Christine Waina and her husband Joe and their daughter Grace of Concord, Ohio; brother, Michael Brinton and his wife Kelly and their children Delaney, Cassidy and Michael of Winter Park, Fla.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his rescue dog, Zeus.
Bob was born on April 28, 1979, in Pasadena, California. He attended Red Bank Catholic and Red Bank Regional high schools in New Jersey; and graduated from Loyola University in Maryland in 2002 with a degree in accounting. He was employed by Neppalli Financial Services in East Brunswick, N.J.
A self-described "Jersey boy" and "people person," Bob had a larger-than-life personality, an infectious smile, a booming laugh and a heart of gold. He loved to fish and golf; he truly treasured his friendships, old and new alike; and he adored "his girls": Erin, Julianne, Isabella and Genevieve.
