Kathleen McCann
Kathleen McCann, 74, of Interlaken, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, February 23, 2018. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Spring Lake Heights, New York City, then settled in Allenhurst and Interlaken. She attended St. Catharine’s Grammar School in Spring Lake and graduated from St. Rose High School in Belmar in 1961. She was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Deal.
She was a court administrator for the Borough of West Long Branch for over 20 years before retiring. She was the President of the Municipal Court Administrators of New Jersey in 2004 and 2005.
She was predeceased by her husband James in 1996; her parents, Alexander and Florence Milmoe; and her brothers, Joseph and Richard Milmoe.
Surviving her is her beloved daughter, Katie McCann; treasured grandson, Michael; sisters Geraldine Curley, Anita Owens and Gail Farley; brothers Bernard and Thomas Milmoe as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church in Deal. Burial will follow at St. Catharine’s Cemetery in Wall. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com for condolences.
